In carrying out our mission to enrich and provide added quality to the educational experience in our community; to encourage further development of specialized talents, skills and academic achievements for individual students, faculty or administrators; and to continue the educational traditions that have contributed to Rocky River's reputation as an outstanding suburban community, we only accept grant applications from Rocky River City School District teachers, administrators, staff and student organizations.

The Silk Road leads to Rocky River.
Rocky River High School teachers Patricia Tobin and Mary Baddour received funding for a silk painting workshop through a Rocky River Education Foundation grant. Art students received two preparatory lessons in advance of the workshop, which was taught by professional silk painter Gunther Schwegler.
