How You Can Help

Get Involved!

The Rocky River Education Foundation is led by an all volunteer board of dedicated citizens. Nominations for board positions are accepted annually. For those who do not wish to commit to the fiduciary responsibilities of board membership, there are events during the year that rely on the help of volunteers who give small amounts of time as needed.

Advancing Your Educational Values

Maybe it was a field trip that sparked your lifelong interest in nature and the environment, or a blue ribbon at the science fair that led to your career as an engineer. All of us have an educational memory that influenced who we are. Supporting RREF allows us to fund the “extras” in the educational experience that serve as the seeds for new ideas and career choices.

FUNdraising Events

Organized by committed volunteers who like to have fun while raising needed dollars, our annual fundraising events offer opportunities to support the mission of the foundation through sponsorship, donation of auction items and event participation. These grassroots fundraising efforts provide the majority of the Foundation’s grant dollars.

Planned Giving

People often spend the first half of their lives acquiring things; the second half making their lives relevant. Estate plans that include RREF are one way to help ensure the continuity of your commitment to the educational development of our children. Legacy gifts can be designated to support endowment growth, a named scholarship fund or left unrestricted to support the greatest need. The RREF can offer assistance in designing a planned gift that is perfectly matched to your educational values.

Making A Gift

Supporting our work to enrich and provide added quality to the educational experience in Rocky River is easy. You can send a donation to the address below… make a donation online at rredfoundation.org/donations… or request a meeting with a Foundation Trustee.
